Why Build CEO Children?
One day about 4 years ago I met a young kid at a store. This kid was selling handmade bracelets to help him make extra money to give his mother for rent. His mother had fallen on hard times and was having trouble keeping up with the essential household bills. He explained to me since he wasn’t old enough to work a job, he decided start a business. The business purpose was to make extra money selling items at school and in the community. This young man bright, courteous, conversational, and a natural in sales. Yet he lived in a low income household. After listening to his story and helping him out, it made me think about this kid day in and day out. In fact, as the years past I ran into numerous kids in similar situations.
What Type of Kids Own a Business?
Brilliant kids with a heart to serve and be entrepreneurial can be business owners. You often read about creative children that come up with lucrative and creative ideas all of the time. Some of these kids, though coming from low income family homes have great ideas and very supportive parents. “Give a man a fish he will eat today, teach a man how to fish and he can eat forever”. That is what this project is all about, teaching this kids how to fish.
The book “The Business Adventures of Penne’ Anne’ and Billy” will be released Spring 2017
“I couldn’t stop at the book though, that didn’t feel like it was good enough to deal with the issue at hand with kids and families in poverty.” states CEO of Jireh Business Consulting
The book and project purpose is:
1.) Introducing ALL kids to the concept of becoming a CEO through reading and playing a business game
2.) Giving kids a tool for developing their cognitive abilities
3.) Teaching kids how to problem solve
4.) Helping children and their parents work together to increase financial literacy
5.) Allowing low income children and their parents to have access to these tools
With that in mind I wanted to bring greater awareness to children about business development via education and entertainment all wrapped into one. It wasn’t hard for us to work with local artists to build a music project. It also wasn’t hard for me to write an animated TV Series for kids to go along with the Book Series. Most recently we have partnered with premier technology team to release the Penne’ Anne’ and Billy App. Follow us on Facebook and other social media to stay updated on our next moves within the next 30 days.
